After Newt Gingrich formally suspended his Presidential campaign this afternoon, Fox News Channel’s Shepard Smith read a statement from the Romney campaign, praising the man it had swapped insults with for months.
“Politics is weird, and creepy, and now I know lacks even the loosest attachment to anything like reality,” Smith lamented after reading the statement.
